I love Valentine’s Day! I think it’s such a cute holiday and the perfect way to show your appreciation for the people you love. Most people think of it solely as a holiday for people in relationships, but I don’t view it that way at all. There are so many cute ways to show appreciation for your S.O., best friend, mom or sister, without breaking your budget! Honestly, I’ve bought some of these items for myself. #selflove

Since I’ve started my blog, a lot of people have reached out to me about something kind of surprising- my hair! I figured I’d share with you guys how I style my hair to get voluminous, long-lasting curls.
The first thing I always do before I curl my hair is use hair mousse. I feel like the mousse helps my curls last longer, and by rubbing some of the product towards your roots, you’ll gain volume.
When it comes to curling irons, my hot tools extra long barrel curling iron is definitely my secret weapon. This curling iron is AMAZING if you have long hair, like me. When I’m in a pinch I split my hair into large sections and curl each section of hair away from my face. However, when I have an event or if I want my curls to last longer, I take smaller sections of hair and switch off on curling the sections of hair either away from my face or towards my face. This method definitely adds more volume to my hair and makes my curls look more defined. Another trick of mine is to make sure that the pieces of hair closest to my face are curled away from my face!
The most important step for me is hairspray! I usually buy a flexible hold hairspray, to make sure my hair doesn’t look crunchy or dry. And to be honest, I use a ton of it. I like to spray each piece of hair as it’s clamped onto my curling iron. I never usually purchase the same hairspray, but two brands that I like are Paul Mitchell and Aussie.
The last step is to smooth and shake out your hair! Since my hair doesn’t hold curls easily, I do NOT brush out my curls. I simply break them up using my fingers. Some people love to brush out their curls, but I don’t do this. One final spritz of hair spray, and then I’m good to go!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and found it helpful, especially if you have long hair! Let me know if you have any questions in the comments section below.
I asked you guys via my Instagram story what you wanted to see more of on my blog, and a few of you answered that you want to see more beauty related posts! I thought it would be a fun idea to share some of my favorite makeup products of 2018. While I am definitely not an expert when it comes to makeup, I still love trying out new products and experimenting with new colors and formulas. Below I’ll link all of my favorite items that I used this year!
Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation: If you have very sensitive skin, give this product a try! This is one of the only foundations I’ve tried that does not cause me to break out.
Laura Mercier Foundation Radiant Primer: I love wearing a primer underneath my foundation whenever I want my makeup to last longer. This primer is illuminating, which I love since I tend to have drier skin.
Clinique Chubby Sticks: These chubby sticks are perfect for every day wear, because they are light and moisturizing. I’ve seriously loved every shade I’ve tried of these so far!
Moroccan Magic Lip Balms: I love these organic, essential oils infused lip-balms so much. I even wrote an entire article about them here!
Looking to get in the holiday spirit? Visit Tinsel! Tinsel is a pop-up holiday bar, featuring fun and festive decorations and drinks. This bar is Christmas themed, filled with ornaments, a ceiling lined with presents, and Santa’s throne.
All of their drinks are holiday themed, which is something I loved seeing! I tried the Holiday Sangria, which had white wine, cranberries, and orange. For more information on their drink menu and prices, check out this Philly Voice article.
And since I’m #extra, I had to dress up for the occasion with an ugly Christmas sweater! I couldn’t find an exact link to the one I was wearing, but I’ve linked a couple similar ones from Amazon Prime: here, here, and here.
Christmas is right around the corner and I couldn’t be more excited about it! Need some ideas to put on your list? Check out some of the items that are on my Christmas list this year! Use these gifts as ideas for your list and alter based on your personal preferences! If you have any questions about any of these products, leave me a comment or message me via Instagram.
Bringing back another fashion inspo blog post! Lately, Kittsona’s online boutique has been ON FIRE, and I am so obsessed with this white fuzzy sweater I picked up a couple of weeks ago! If you decide to purchase, be prepared, because it does shed a little bit. However, it is definitely worth it! It’s so warm, cozy, and so cute. ALSO, use my coupon code BBXOXOMORGAN for 10% off your order.
I love the way this sweater looks paired with this faux fur cabby hat from Forever 21. I decided to purchase it in the tan color, but it comes in black as well! Better yet, it’s under $20. It’s also super warm and perfect for this time of year.
I decided to keep this look casual with my fuzzy Ugg slides, which add to the cozy vibe of this look. You could totally rock brown/tan booties if that’s more your style.
