This brand makes high-end and high-quality products right here in Philadelphia! They have so many amazing sweaters in pretty red and pink shades. Use my code MORGAN20 for 20% off! My two favorites are their Bobbi sweater and their Amanda sweater.
Even if you aren’t a fan of these two dress options from Forever 21, I highly recommend searching through their website for some cute dress options! They currently have a ton of adorable and inexpensive red dresses, available in regular sizing and plus sizing.
Since I’ve started my blog, a lot of people have reached out to me about something kind of surprising- my hair! I figured I’d share with you guys how I style my hair to get voluminous, long-lasting curls.
The first thing I always do before I curl my hair is use hair mousse. I feel like the mousse helps my curls last longer, and by rubbing some of the product towards your roots, you’ll gain volume.
When it comes to curling irons, my hot tools extra long barrel curling iron is definitely my secret weapon. This curling iron is AMAZING if you have long hair, like me. When I’m in a pinch I split my hair into large sections and curl each section of hair away from my face. However, when I have an event or if I want my curls to last longer, I take smaller sections of hair and switch off on curling the sections of hair either away from my face or towards my face. This method definitely adds more volume to my hair and makes my curls look more defined. Another trick of mine is to make sure that the pieces of hair closest to my face are curled away from my face!
The most important step for me is hairspray! I usually buy a flexible hold hairspray, to make sure my hair doesn’t look crunchy or dry. And to be honest, I use a ton of it. I like to spray each piece of hair as it’s clamped onto my curling iron. I never usually purchase the same hairspray, but two brands that I like are Paul Mitchell and Aussie.
The last step is to smooth and shake out your hair! Since my hair doesn’t hold curls easily, I do NOT brush out my curls. I simply break them up using my fingers. Some people love to brush out their curls, but I don’t do this. One final spritz of hair spray, and then I’m good to go!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and found it helpful, especially if you have long hair! Let me know if you have any questions in the comments section below.
I asked you guys via my Instagram story what you wanted to see more of on my blog, and a few of you answered that you want to see more beauty related posts! I thought it would be a fun idea to share some of my favorite makeup products of 2018. While I am definitely not an expert when it comes to makeup, I still love trying out new products and experimenting with new colors and formulas. Below I’ll link all of my favorite items that I used this year!
Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation: If you have very sensitive skin, give this product a try! This is one of the only foundations I’ve tried that does not cause me to break out.
Laura Mercier Foundation Radiant Primer: I love wearing a primer underneath my foundation whenever I want my makeup to last longer. This primer is illuminating, which I love since I tend to have drier skin.
Clinique Chubby Sticks: These chubby sticks are perfect for every day wear, because they are light and moisturizing. I’ve seriously loved every shade I’ve tried of these so far!
Moroccan Magic Lip Balms: I love these organic, essential oils infused lip-balms so much. I even wrote an entire article about them here!
Bringing back another fashion inspo blog post! Lately, Kittsona’s online boutique has been ON FIRE, and I am so obsessed with this white fuzzy sweater I picked up a couple of weeks ago! If you decide to purchase, be prepared, because it does shed a little bit. However, it is definitely worth it! It’s so warm, cozy, and so cute. ALSO, use my coupon code BBXOXOMORGAN for 10% off your order.
I love the way this sweater looks paired with this faux fur cabby hat from Forever 21. I decided to purchase it in the tan color, but it comes in black as well! Better yet, it’s under $20. It’s also super warm and perfect for this time of year.
I decided to keep this look casual with my fuzzy Ugg slides, which add to the cozy vibe of this look. You could totally rock brown/tan booties if that’s more your style.
As many of you know, one of my favorite online boutiques is Kittsona. They have been releasing so many cute fall jackets, and I HAD to share this plaid teddybear one I recently picked up with all of you! It’s so warm, yet so trendy, and is the perfect addition to any Fall wardrobe.
If you ever purchase anything from Kittsona, you can use my coupon code BBXOXOMORGAN to get 10% off your order!
I love pairing plaid with cheetah print. Some people love the cheetah print trend, and I am definitely one of those people! I found this really cute cheetah print body suit from Forever 21, and it paired perfectly with this jacket.
I also found these teddybear Ugg slip-ons from Burlington! They paired perfectly with this entire outfit. P.s. If you want to see my review of this restaurant, click here.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with using chapstick and lip balms. There is absolutely nothing worse than that feeling you get when you NEED chapstick and you need it now! I used to rely on petroleum jelly (Vaseline) as my lip balm/chapstick source, because it was so moisturizing. But, recently I’ve switched over to Moroccan Magic.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve been making a conscious effort to start using natural beauty products in replacement of my toxic beauty products. I’ve been able to completely transform my skin care routine to consist of 100% natural products (let me know if you want me to write a blog post about this)! Since I made such a conscious effort to do this, I decided it was about time to find an all natural lip product.
Did you know that petroleum jelly isn’t as good for our lips as we thought it was? Neither did I, until I read this blog post. This is exactly why I switched over to Moroccan Magic.
Moroccan Magic lip balms are made from organic argan and essential oils. They are available in five different flavors, including: Rose, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Lemon Thyme, and Coconut Almond. I honestly LOVE every flavor, but my all time favorite has to be Rose. These lip balms are completely organic, cruelty free, and feel amazing on your lips! Everything I could have possibly asked for in a chapstick.
The Moroccan Magic lip balm line is available at Walgreens, CVS, Whole Foods, and some other smaller retailers, but if you want a chance to win their entire lip balm line for FREE go enter my giveaway on my Instagram page! You can find out how to enter by visiting this post.
Also, this blog post is NOT SPONSORED. I seriously just love that these lip balms are completely natural and I love the values behind this organization. The owners are such kind and empowering women, and I’m happy to promote this company via my blog. If you try out any of their products, let me know!
If you’re a NJ or PA follower, your life is about to get a little bit sweeter! We all know that King of Prussia Mall is the BEST MALL EVER. They have every store your little heart could ever desire! But, now Macy’s has transformed a section of their first floor department store into a Macy’s Backstage shop.
As many of you may know, I LOVE shopping at Macy’s. I’m definitely a bargain shopper, so I was eager to check out their newly discounted pop-up shop. The only downside to Macy’s Backstage is that their items are first come, first serve. If you don’t see something in your size at the store, they have probably sold out of it. However, if you’re headed to KOP you should definitely stop by and check out some of their great deals! Want to see some of the cute items I picked up? As always, keep scrolling.
