About a year ago, I came across the Smart Baking Company’s products. People were raving about their gluten free, low calorie, low sugar Smartcakes! These treats are intended to feel like a muffin/cupcake, and have pretty good nutrition stats for dieters watching their caloric intake.

If you’re interested in trying out any of their products click here, and use my coupon code xoxomorgan for 10% off of your order! Wondering which Smartcakes flavor you should try? I’ve ranked all of them for you, from best to worst! Let me know what you think in the comments section below.

1. Cinnamon

These were by far the best flavor of Smartcakes! They tasted like little cinnamon breakfast muffins. Paired with coffee, this would make a great breakfast or mid-morning snack.

2. Tangerine

The tangerine flavor was not what I was expecting, but it was very good! This flavor reminded me of sweet Fruity Pebbles cereal. I really enjoyed this flavor!

3. Lemon

Similar to the tangerine Smartcakes, the lemon Smartcakes tasted fruity with a hint of lemon. I enjoyed these almost as much as I enjoyed the tangerine Smartcakes.

4. Coconut

I love coconut flavored treats, so I was a bit let down with the coconut flavored Smartcakes. These tasted very plain with the smallest hint of coconut. I wish these had unsweetened coconut shreds in them, or something to make the coconut flavor stronger.

5. Chocolate

I am a chocolate fanatic, so these chocolate Smartcakes did not do the job for me. They tasted like artificial chocolate cupcakes, so I was very disappointed. Out of all of the flavors, I wouldn’t purchase this one.
