THREE WAYS TO ENJOY YOUR OATMEAL

I can genuinely say that I crave oatmeal every single day. After I learned that oats can keep your gut healthy due to their soluble and insoluble fibers, I incorporated them into my everyday diet. I’ve provided you with three simple, easy, delicious, and filling ways to enjoy your morning bowl of oats! I like that fruit provides sweetness, rather than using sugar or syrups. Feel free to make adjustments based on your dietary needs and restrictions.

STRAWBERRY KIWI OATMEAL

What you’ll need:
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup sliced strawberries
1 pealed and sliced kiwi
1 tbsp nut butter (I use peanut butter)
Cinnamon (to taste)
1 tbsp hemp seeds (optional)

Directions:
1. Mix together your oats and almond milk, and microwave until tender. It usually takes 2.5 minutes in my microwave.
2. Allow the oatmeal to cool for a couple of minutes and top it with your strawberries, kiwi, nut butter, cinnamon, and hemp seeds!

HINT OF CHOCOLATE OATMEAL

I’ve recently discovered unsweetened chocolate almond milk, and I have to admit that I am OBSESSED with it. You could totally transform this oatmeal recipe into an amazing chocolatey treat with cacao powder or dark chocolate chips. 1/2 cup unsweetened chocolate almond milk
1/2 cup blueberries
1 pealed and sliced kiwi
1 tbsp nut butter (I use peanut butter)
Cinnamon (to taste)
1 tbsp hemp seeds (optional)

Directions:
1. Mix together your oats and almond milk, and microwave until tender. It usually takes 2.5 minutes in my microwave.
2. Allow the oatmeal to cool for a couple of minutes and top it with your blueberries, kiwi, nut butter, cinnamon, and hemp seeds!

PB&J OATMEAL

What you’ll need:
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup almond milk
2 TBSP frozen raspberries
1/2 banana, sliced
1 tbsp nut butter (I use peanut butter)
Cinnamon (to taste)
1 tbsp hemp seeds (optional)

Directions:
1. Mix together your oats and almond milk, and microwave until tender. It usually takes 2.5 minutes in my microwave.
2. While your oatmeal cools for a couple of minutes, microwave your frozen raspberries for 20-30 seconds or until softened. Gently mash up the defrosted raspberries to create a “jelly” consistency.
3. Top the oats with your mashed up raspberries, sliced banana, nut butter, cinnamon, and hemp seeds!
